YOUR Dreams Can Come True

Walt Disney World was my favorite vacation spot with my family when I was little and still continues to be my first choice when we vacation. The atmosphere at the parks and the hospitality provided by the Cast Members makes the entire experience memorable. I have to use both my hands when counting how many times I have visited Walt Disney World, and each time I visit there is something new to experience. I have worked at the local Disney Store for over a year and continue to learn about Walt Disney's creations every day. To work at the Disney Store you do not have to be a Disney knowledge master, but you become one by immersing yourself in all the magic around you.

I am not an expert on this topic, but believe from my many personal experiences of vacationing at Walt Disney World and working at the Disney Store, I have many tips and tricks to making your Walt Disney World vacation magical. My goal is to share the knowledge I have acquired and listen to your needs as a couple, or as a family, when wanting to take a trip to the Parks. Certainly if I do not know the answer to your Disney World question, my job is to find out the answer for you. I will ask a co-worker, or I will personally call Guest Services myself to get that answer you need. Is your entire

family (kids included) going to be accompanying you? I know where to find the characters your children want to see and how long you may have to stand in line for. Maybe it is a husband and wife getaway for an anniversary? I know when you need to make reservations for Mama Melrose's restaurant in Hollywood Studios and how you can get free passes to Fantasmic. I have the answers and want to share them with you!

  1. I am very thrilled to now be following a blog dedicated to mastering a memorable trip to Disney because, in a little less than a year, I will be taking my step daughter and my husband on both of their first trip to visit. I have personally been to Disney a few times and every experience was truly incomparable to the last. I knew that the first chance I got I'd be taking my own children there in hopes of making them fall in love with the magic it offers as I did. I hope your blog can give me great ways to make this the best experience possible for my 7 year old and still make it exciting enough that my husband forgets the hassle and money that gets put into planning it.

    1. Alexandra,
It's never too early to start planning a Disney vacation! Do you have any ideas on how long you are going for or which resort you want to stay at? I know some families are worried about staying on Disney property due to the costs, but the hospitality and accomodations that the Disney resorts offer is unlike any other! Let me know what ideas you have! :)

  2. The personal nature you bring to this blog is refreshing. I feel that anyone looking to make Disney Parks a vacation spot can learn something from your experience. The connection you have with real-world experience along with the work experience is something many people do not get to share. I do find the font choice a little difficult to read at times. Is the font bolded? Can you increase the font to make more space between the letters? I am very interested in how this blog will grow through this course.

    1. TheHayze,
I had played with the font before publishing this blog and it took me awhile to figure it out. The font is not bolded, and I have actually increased the size since you commented on here. I appreciate your feedback to help me make this blog attractive to users and easy to read!

  3. I am really excited that your blog is focusing on Walt Disney World. With my family being from California, we definitely frequent Disneyland more often than Disney World. It will be interesting to learn about a Disney Park that I am not as familiar with. I think your personal experience as a park goer will have an interesting spin that may not be on Disney World's website.

  4. Megan,
I am so incredibly jealous that you are from California! You mentioned that you frequent Disneyland more than Disney World, but I am interested in your differing thoughts about the two parks. Do you prefer the smaller atmosphere of Disneyland compared to the complex Disney World? I look forward to hearing back from you! :)
